Purpose-built
Cable Landing Stations

Vela Infrastructure is strengthening the global internet backbone by developing a platform of modern, purpose-built submarine cable landing stations.

Established in 2024, Vela develops, owns and operates carrier-neutral facilities that are scalable, secure, and optimized for efficiency. We work with submarine cable owners to identify and develop key locations globally where our facilities can serve as vital hubs, enabling seamless interconnection with customers, partners, and terrestrial networks.

The resilience of global networks depends on route and landing station diversity, minimizing the risk of service disruptions. Vela’s commitment to developing diversified cable landing stations will help to strengthen the global network by facilitating alternative routes and securing vital connections.
